On-site Partial Discharge Testing at a Power Supply Company of an Oilfield in Eastern Hebei

At a power supply company of an oilfield in Eastern Hebei, our company was invited by the client to conductpartialdischargeinspection and testing on their 10KV lines and main transformers. The testing used theGHPD901Bultrasonicwave partialdischarge line inspector. During the inspection of lines, insulators, and transformers, our technical staff did not find any partial discharge phenomena, indicating that the insulation condition of the lines is good. Later, when testing a main transformer, ultrasonic signals were found on three 110KV insulators, with one discharge being particularly obvious. After repeated testing, it was confirmed that the partial discharge persisted and the creepage phenomenon was severe. Considering the surrounding environment, our technical staff recommended regular cleaning of this insulator. After the experiment, the client expressed satisfaction with the testing and established a cooperative relationship with our company.
