According to GB 50150 and the DL/T 596 preventive testing regulations, the DC voltage drop method is commonly used for measuring the resistance of conductive loops in switchgear, requiring a test current of no less than 100A. However, in on-site operations, problems such as fluctuating test data, long time consumption for a single wiring setup, and insufficient consistency of repeated test results are relatively common. The HCR-100P Loop Resistance Tester is designed to address the above issues, employing single-chip control to automatically execute the test process.
The device outputs a 100A DC test current with an output voltage of up to 10V, which is 2 to 3 times that of conventional instruments, enabling it to adapt to long test cables and loop conditions with relatively large contact resistance. The test process is automatically completed under single-chip control, reducing reading discrepancies caused by manual intervention and providing good repeatability.
A single-button operation logic is adopted. After pressing the test button, the device automatically completes current output, voltage sampling, and resistance calculation. The test data is displayed on an LCD screen for convenient on-site recording. The test cables are connected in a four-wire configuration, which eliminates the influence of lead resistance on measurement results.
It is suitable for contact resistance measurement of conductive loops such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, and busbar connection points, and can also be used for comparative loop resistance testing during routine maintenance of switchgear.
