In field operations and maintenance, offline oil chromatography testing requires manual sampling and laboratory analysis, which is time-consuming and affected by the sampling process. The DRD-8800 online transformer oil chromatography monitoring device integrates degassing, separation, and detection on site, enabling continuous acquisition of dissolved gas data, reducing the frequency of manual sampling, and providing maintenance personnel with a basis for trend judgment.
The device adopts dynamic headspace degassing to separate and detect characteristic gases dissolved in transformer oil, such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, methane, acetylene, ethylene, and ethane. The detection limit meets the supervision requirements for in-service transformer oil. After processing, the data is uploaded to the backend, supporting historical curve queries and over-limit alerts. During operation, the cold trap temperature is typically set at -5°C to +5°C, with a storage and transport limit range of -40°C to +80°C. On site, attention should be paid to the impact of ambient temperature on the temperature control module.
The device is powered by AC 220V, and the communication interface supports RS485 and Ethernet. Its protection rating is suitable for outdoor cabinet installation in substations. The detection cycle can be set, and the single analysis time varies depending on the set cycle and the status of the degassing module. The sampling line is made of stainless steel, and the interface is configured according to the reserved valve on the site transformer.
Compared with laboratory chromatographs, the advantage of the online device lies in data continuity and trend tracking, but the accuracy of a single test is affected by on-site temperature, vibration, and carrier gas status. Compared with portable testing equipment, the online device eliminates the need for frequent personnel presence and is suitable for long-term monitoring of important transformers. Maintenance personnel should regularly check carrier gas pressure, cold trap temperature, and sampling line tightness, and periodically compare data according to the relevant methods in GB/T7601.
It is suitable for online monitoring of dissolved gases in oil for transformers and reactors at voltage levels of 110kV and above. During installation, the position of the sampling valve and the oil circuit routing must be confirmed to avoid dead zones. Routine maintenance includes carrier gas replacement, cold trap cleaning, and communication status checks. In accordance with the relevant requirements of DL/T 596 and GB/T14542, online data should be periodically checked against offline test results to ensure monitoring effectiveness.
