At power maintenance sites, a decrease in the vacuum degree of the vacuum circuit breaker arc extinguishing chamber often leads to insufficient breaking capacity, but traditional methods require disassembling the arc extinguishing chamber, which is time-consuming and may introduce new sealing problems. Technicians need a detection method that does not require disassembly and can be used on site.
The DRV-8600 Switch Vacuum Degree Tester adopts the magnetron discharge method. During testing, the arc extinguishing chamber is placed in a magnetic field, and a high-voltage pulse is applied to ionize the internal gas. The vacuum degree is indirectly calculated by measuring the ion current. This method requires no disassembly of the arc extinguishing chamber and can complete the measurement after on-site wiring, reducing power outage time and secondary assembly risks.
The instrument has a measurement accuracy of 10⁻⁵ Pa level, covering the range of 10⁻⁵ to 10⁻¹ Pa, meeting the daily testing needs of vacuum switches in industries such as electric power, steel, petrochemical, textile, coal, and railway. The main unit weighs 12 kg, making it easy to carry to the site.
The device adopts a guided operation interface. After wiring, follow the prompts step by step, and charging/discharging and data acquisition are automatically completed. The test results directly display the vacuum degree value and support storage and query, making it convenient for technicians to compare historical data.
It is suitable for the production, maintenance, and operation and maintenance of vacuum circuit breakers, especially for departments using vacuum switches such as substations, steel plants, and petrochemical enterprises. Regular testing of the vacuum degree of the arc extinguishing chamber helps to timely discover deterioration trends and provide a basis for maintenance decisions.
