Transformer ratio testing is one of the routine test items during transformer manufacturing and maintenance. The BBC6638 transformer ratio tester is designed with modern electronic technology, and its operation is controlled by a microcontroller. The large LCD screen can intuitively display information such as three-phase ratio, error, and tap position. The instrument is designed with a longitudinal test function for tap windings, which can automatically determine the tap position and store the corresponding ratio values. This instrument is suitable for ratio testing of transformers with various connection groups, including Z-type.

2. If the test leads are short-circuited or the high and low voltage connections are reversed, the fuse will blow. After the fuse blows, if measurement is attempted, the display will show "Measuring, please wait!" and then stop. Please turn off the power, replace the fuse with one of the same capacity, and retest.
3. Ensure good contact in the connections. The instrument should be properly grounded!
4. The working place of the instrument should be far away from strong electric fields, strong magnetic fields, and high-frequency equipment. The smaller the interference of the power supply, the better. If the power supply interference is still significant, an AC purified power supply can be used to charge the instrument. The capacity of the AC purified power supply should be greater than 200VA.
5. If the LCD display becomes disordered during operation, all keys do not respond, or the measured value differs greatly from the actual value, press the reset button or turn off the power and restart the operation.
6. If the display has no characters or the characters are too faint, adjust the brightness potentiometer to a suitable position.
7. When working in dark places, the backlight can be turned on. To reduce the power consumption of the display, the backlight is not very bright.
8. The instrument should be stored in a dry and ventilated place.
