Precautions

① When measuring an on-load tap changer transformer, the discharge must be exited before switching the tap changer. Only after the discharge indication ends can the tap changer be switched.

② Do not disassemble the wiring during measurement.

③ If the charging progress bar and current display value remain stagnant for a long time, it may indicate that the measured winding resistance exceeds the current measurement range, and the current cannot reach the preset value. In this case, press the "Exit" key to return, reselect the current, and try again.

Structural Features

This tester adopts the typical four-wire measurement method to improve the accuracy of measuring resistance (especially low resistance). The programmable constant current source, programmable preamplifier, and A/D converter constitute the main body of the measurement circuit. The central control unit applies a constant, high-precision current to the external load under test by controlling the constant current source, and then processes the obtained data (including test voltage, current test current, etc.) to obtain the actual resistance value.
