Precautions for SB2231 DC Digital Resistance Meter:
1. When storing and keeping this meter, pay attention to ambient temperature and humidity. It should be placed in a dry and ventilated place to avoid moisture, and prevent acid, alkali, and corrosive gases.
2. When measuring protective grounding resistance, be sure to disconnect the electrical equipment from the power supply connection point. When measuring grounding resistance less than 1Ω, use dedicated wires to connect to the grounding body respectively, with C2 on the outside and P2 on the inside as shown in Figure 4:
3. When measuring the grounding resistance of a large grounding grid, do not use the general wiring method. Refer to the regulations in the ammeter and voltmeter measurement method to select the burial and insertion points.
4. When measuring ground resistance, repeat measurements 3-4 times in different directions and take the average value.
5. This meter is equipped with a rechargeable battery pack. When the internal rechargeable battery voltage drops below 7.2V, the upper left corner of the meter head displays the undervoltage symbol “←”. It reminds to charge the internal battery pack for about 8 hours in time until the charging indicator on the panel dims and goes out. When the meter is not used for a long time, charge the battery regularly for maintenance.
