Darui Electric Recommends for You

Power Frequency Test Transformer is a high-performance withstand voltage test equipment designed according to the new national power industry standards. It is used for insulation strength tests under specified voltages on various electrical products, electrical components, insulating materials, etc., to assess the insulation level of products, discover insulation defects of the test object, and measure the ability to withstand overvoltage. The power frequency high-voltage test transformer adopts advanced microcomputer technology that keeps pace with the times, and digital measurement and control means combining software and hardware. Its excellent design and thoughtful considerations implement the design concept of "everything for the user", making you feel relaxed and proficient in use.

1. Product Features of Power Frequency High-Voltage Test Transformer

The high-voltage test transformer is made of cold-rolled silicon steel sheets stacked, with coils in a concentric pagoda-shaped multi-layer cylindrical form, the low-voltage coil inside and the high-voltage coil outside; the shell is portable, with characteristics of small size, light weight, compact structure, complete functions, strong universality, and convenient use. It is especially suitable for insulation strength tests under power frequency or DC high voltage on various high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical components, and insulating materials in power systems, industrial and mining enterprises, and scientific research departments. It is an indispensable important equipment in high-voltage tests.

2. Working Principle of Power Frequency High-Voltage Test Transformer

The light high-voltage test transformer is a single-phase transformer. The working process of a single high-voltage test transformer: AC 220V (400V for above 10KVA) voltage is connected to the power control box (console), and through the auto-transformer inside the power control box (console), the voltage is adjusted from 0~200V or 0-400V to the primary winding of the test transformer. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the required high voltage for the test can be obtained on the high-voltage winding of the test transformer.

3. Power Frequency Test Transformer Usage Methods and Precautions

1. Test personnel for the power frequency high-voltage test transformer should divide responsibilities, set the safety distance of the test site, carefully check the grounding of the test object and the test transformer, and have a dedicated person to monitor safety and observe the status of the test object.

2. The main parts of the test object should be cleaned and kept dry to avoid damaging the test object and causing errors in test values.

3. For tests on large equipment, generally a no-load test of the test transformer should be performed first, that is, raising the voltage to the test voltage without connecting the test object.

4. During the withstand voltage test, the voltage rise speed should not be too fast, and sudden pressurization should be prevented, such as sudden closing when the voltage regulator is not at zero position, and sudden power off should also be avoided. Generally, the switch should be opened after the voltage regulator is reduced to zero position.

5. During the voltage rise or withstand voltage test, if the following abnormal conditions are found, such as large swings of the voltage and current meter pointers, abnormal sounds from the test object, burning or smoking of insulation, the power frequency high-voltage test transformer should immediately reduce the voltage, cut off the power, stop the test, and find out the cause.

6. Power Frequency Test Transformer When using this product for high-voltage tests, in addition to being familiar with this manual, you must strictly implement relevant national standards and operating procedures.
