I. Overview of Smart Insulation Resistance Tester:
The smart insulation resistance tester is specially used for insulation testing in laboratories or on-site. It contains a high-precision micro-current measurement system and a digital voltage boosting system. Only one high-voltage wire and one signal wire are needed to connect the test object for measurement. The measurement is automatic, and the results are displayed on a large LCD screen and stored.
II. Main Features of Smart Insulation Resistance Tester:
1. Controlled by a 32-bit microcontroller, with a full Chinese operation interface, easy to operate.
2. Automatically calculates absorption ratio and polarization index, and automatically stores data every minute for 15 seconds, 1 minute, and 10 minutes for analysis.
3. Large output current, short-circuit current greater than 5mA.
4. Strong anti-interference capability, suitable for on-site operation in ultra-high voltage substations.
5. Automatic discharge after testing, with real-time monitoring of the discharge process.
6. Built-in rechargeable battery and charger. When the backlight is off, a full charge can last for 6 to 12 hours of continuous use.
III. Main Technical Performance of Smart Insulation Resistance Tester:
Accuracy: ±(10%+5 digits)
Measurement Range: 0.1MΩ to 200GΩ
Test Voltage: Setting Range: 0.5kV to 5kV Accuracy: 5%±10V
Short-Circuit Current: >5mA
Measurement Time: 1 minute to 10 minutes (depending on measurement mode)
Charging Power Supply: 180 to 270VAC, 50Hz/60Hz±1% (mains or generator supply)
Working Environment: Temperature -10 to 40℃, relative humidity 20 to 80%.
IV. Functions of Operating Components of Smart Insulation Resistance Tester:
1. L terminal
“L” is the high-voltage output terminal, called the line terminal. It is connected to the tested line end via a high-voltage cable, for example, to a motor winding or cable core.
2. G terminal
“G” is called the shield terminal, used for measuring the volume resistance of insulating materials or cables using the three-electrode method. It connects to the guard ring terminal of the three electrodes.
3. E terminal
“E” is called the ground terminal, connected to the ground or neutral end of the tested object, such as the metal casing of a motor, transformer core, or cable shield layer.
