What are the daily maintenance tips for GIS partial discharge tester - Yangzhou Darui
The GIS partial discharge tester has the advantages of high sensitivity, large dynamic range of the amplifier system, wide range of test objects, and easy operation. It also adopts advanced anti-interference components and a unique gate display circuit, with strong anti-interference capability, and has four types of high-frequency elliptical scanning, suitable for type tests, factory tests, new product development tests of high-voltage products, and quantitative testing of partial discharge in motors, instrument transformers, cables, bushings, capacitors, transformers, arresters, switches, and other high-voltage electrical appliances. It can be used on-site by manufacturers, scientific research departments, and power departments.
When partial discharge occurs under the test voltage, the discharge pulse signal is sent to the input unit through the coupling capacitor Ca. The input unit picks up the pulse signal, which is amplified by a low-noise preamplifier, filtered by a filter amplifier to select the required frequency band, and amplified by the main amplifier (to achieve the required amplitude and generate zero marker pulses). Then, a visible discharge pulse is produced on the elliptical scanning baseline of the oscilloscope screen, and it is also sent to the pulse peak meter to display its peak value.
The GIS partial discharge tester should be maintained in daily use as follows:
1. Effective moisture protection
In humid areas or during humid seasons, if the discharge tester is not used for a long time, it is recommended to power it on once a month, running for about 2 hours each time, to dissipate moisture and protect components.
2. Proper storage
When not in use, the partial discharge tester should be stored indoors in a well-ventilated area free of corrosive gases, with an ambient temperature of -20~60°C and relative humidity not exceeding 85%.
3. Avoid direct sunlight
When used outdoors, operate in the shade as much as possible, and try to avoid or reduce direct exposure of the display screen of the partial discharge tester to strong sunlight.
4. Replacing fuses
If the wiring board has power but the partial discharge tester cannot start normally, you can check whether the fuse on the power socket is intact. If it is blown, replace it with a new matching fuse, and refer to the original fuse installation position for installation.
5. Pay attention to transportation
The GIS partial discharge tester is a precision and valuable device. During transportation, make sure the chassis is fastened to prevent damage to the panel, especially the screen part. Avoid heavy dropping and impact when handling.
