Brief Discussion on Precautions During Wiring of Three-Channel DC Resistance Tester - Yangzhou Dary
Dary Electric recommends
Three-Channel DC Resistance Tester is a high-precision, wide-range resistance tester controlled by a high-performance microprocessor. It can test resistances from 1μΩ to 3MΩ and display readings up to 30,000 counts. With a high test speed of 60 times/second, it still maintains an accuracy of 0.05% at 15 times/second, and the reading fluctuation can be controlled within 3 digits. It comes standard with temperature compensation function, allowing accurate testing of meter resistances. Three current modes meet various demanding resistance testing requirements.
To ensure the effective use of the three-channel DC resistance tester, every step cannot be ignored, especially wiring. If problems occur during this step, subsequent operations may not proceed normally. During wiring, the following precautions should be noted:
1. Connect the instrument to an external AC220V power supply using the power cord, and connect the grounding terminal to the earth using the grounding wire.
2. For three-winding transformers, after testing the high and low voltage windings, connect the four test clips of the high-voltage test lead (the longer one) to the medium voltage side for testing.
3. For two-winding transformers, connect the four test clips (yellow, green, red, black) of the high-voltage test lead (the longer one) to the A, B, C, and O bushings on the high-voltage side respectively. If there are only three bushings A, B, and C, leave the black test clip suspended. Connect the other end of the test lead to the corresponding terminals on the instrument. Connect the three test clips (yellow, green, red) of the low-voltage test lead (the shorter one) to the a, b, and c bushings on the low-voltage side respectively, and connect the other end of the test lead to the corresponding terminals on the instrument.
4. For single-phase transformers, connect the yellow and green test clips of the high-voltage test lead (the longer one) to the high-voltage side of the single-phase transformer, and the yellow and green test clips of the low-voltage test lead (the shorter one) to the low-voltage side. Connect the other end of the test lead to the corresponding terminals on the instrument.
We hope the above content can help you use this instrument better.
