Microcomputer Relay Protection Tester Must Not Be Touched by Mistake During Operation Tests

Darui Electric recommends

Microcomputer Relay Protection Tester
The main object is the relay protection device for 220kV and below high-voltage transmission lines, and through simulation systems, it detects various faults, outputs three-phase voltage, current, or DC test voltage, simulates the occurrence and removal process of various faults such as single-phase grounding, two-phase short circuit, three-phase short circuit, and simulates the changes in current and voltage during faults, thereby testing the overall action performance of the protected device under test. Before the microcomputer relay protection tester is operated, the work leader must conduct a hazard point analysis with the work group members, explain the work tasks and division of labor, emphasize the work location, the condition of operating equipment, and precautions, and check whether the safety measures are arranged in accordance with requirements to effectively prevent abnormalities.

Before operating the equipment, the equipment name must be verified to strictly prevent entering the wrong interval and mistakenly operating the protection. The microcomputer relay protection tester uses voltage and current to change from normal operating values to fault values, and simultaneously tests the response state and response speed of the relay protection device to faults, and calibrates various protection devices such as voltage, current, negative sequence, impedance, direction, etc. Test personnel are not allowed to touch switch operating handles, draw-out circuit breakers, select grounding button alarms, alarm bells, reset buttons, trip pressure plates, fuses, voltage switching switches, etc. in substations or on-site work. If it is necessary to operate the above equipment due to work needs, it must be allowed by the relevant operating personnel and operated under the supervision of the operating personnel.

When it is necessary to drill near an operating protection panel or perform work with vibration, drilling on the operating protection panel is strictly prohibited. Anti-vibration measures must be taken, and if necessary, the relevant protection should be disabled. When transporting or placing the microcomputer relay protection tester in the front or rear aisles of the control panel or protection panel, sufficient distance must be maintained to strictly prevent accidental contact that could cause the switch to trip by mistake.
