1. Connect the grounding terminal on the control box panel to the grounding post of the high-voltage tower using a grounding wire, and securely connect it to the site or laboratory ground wire. To ensure the safety of you and the equipment, please repeatedly check the grounding wire to ensure all parts are well grounded.

Use the provided seven-core cable to connect the control box and the high-voltage tower. Both ends of the cable have the same quick aviation plug. Note that the notch on the side of the plug should align with the thick protruding part inside the socket, insert it, and tighten it clockwise. (Either end of the cable can be used to connect to the control box or the high-voltage tower.) Connect the power cord; the power supply is single-phase AC 220V, 50Hz industrial frequency.

2. Turn on the power switch. At this time, the power switch light (green) and the panel meter will illuminate. Then the high-voltage indicator light (green) will turn on. If the high-voltage warning buzzer is in the "on" position, it will sound to alert the operator that high voltage is being applied. At this point, rotate the high-voltage output adjustment knob clockwise to increase the voltage. The voltmeter displays the voltage in kV across the load test sample, and the ammeter displays the sum of the current flowing through the test sample and all leakage currents, but does not include the current of the built-in high-voltage divider resistor. The current is displayed in microamperes (uA).

If after turning on the power switch, the high-voltage indicator light (green) does not illuminate, and the "Return to Zero" fault indicator light (red) is on, it indicates that the high-voltage output adjustment knob is not in the zero position. Please rotate this knob counterclockwise to the "zero" position, and also return the fine-tuning voltage knob to zero. The "Return to Zero" light will then go out, and you can increase the voltage by rotating clockwise.

3. If voltage regulation protection within the rated output voltage range is not required, rotate the overvoltage protection setting knob clockwise to the maximum value. At this time, when the output voltage exceeds the rated output voltage, automatic protection will activate and cut off the high voltage. If voltage regulation protection within the rated output voltage range is required, please perform a no-load voltage increase following the above steps to the predetermined protection voltage, then slowly rotate the overvoltage protection setting knob counterclockwise to the desired voltage. When the overvoltage protection action occurs, the "Overvoltage" indicator light will illuminate. Keep the overvoltage protection setting knob fixed at this position, return the voltage increase knob to zero, and turn off the power. After connecting the test sample, if the voltage exceeds the predetermined value during subsequent increases, the high voltage will be automatically cut off.
