When selecting a vacuum degree tester for vacuum switch operation and maintenance, procurement personnel often encounter a specific question: for different arc extinguishing chamber tube types, can the instrument test them directly, and is parameter input cumbersome? The HDZK-Ⅳ switch vacuum degree tester provides two operational paths in its operating logic. Understanding the differences between these two paths helps determine, at the procurement stage, how well the instrument matches the on-site tube types.

1. Direct Selection Mode for Tube Types with Substitute Parameters

If the switch tube under test has substitute parameters available, the corresponding mode can be selected directly during operation. This design is suitable for scenarios where the tube type parameters are relatively close to the instrument's built-in database. Procurement personnel should verify whether the model of the switch tube to be tested falls within the coverage of the substitute parameters. If covered, there is no need to enter tube type parameters item by item during on-site testing, which reduces operating steps and lowers test deviations caused by parameter input errors. For operation and maintenance units with relatively fixed tube types and uniform batches, this mode can improve inspection efficiency.

2. Manual Input Path When No Substitute Parameters Are Available

If the switch tube under test has no substitute parameters available, press the [Select] key to make [◢◢] point to the corresponding option and manually input the tube type parameters. This path requires the operator to know the tube type parameters of the switch tube in advance and complete the entry in the instrument interface. Procurement personnel need to focus on two points during evaluation: first, whether the instrument supports manual input of the required parameter items; second, whether the operating logic of the input interface is clear. For sites with many tube types and insufficient coverage of substitute parameters, manual input capability is an important guarantee of the instrument's applicability.

3. Practical Recommendations for Procurement Verification

In light of the above two modes, procurement personnel can confirm with the supplier during model selection: whether the model of the switch tube to be tested is in the substitute parameter library; if not, which tube type parameters need to be prepared for manual input; and whether the instrument comes with parameter input instructions or operating guidelines. In addition, attention should be paid to how the instrument stores and recalls tube type parameters to avoid repeated input. It should be noted that the above information and technical parameters are compiled and published by Yangzhou Darui Electric Co., Ltd. During procurement, verification should be based on the actual instrument manual and on-site tube types.
